Kabaka Suuna I
1584 – 1614 Kabaka Suuna I, Kabaka of Buganda, son of Kabaka Nakibinge, Kabaka of Buganda, by his fifth wife, Nasuna. Succeeded on the death of his elder half-brother, ca. 1584. Established his capital at Jimbo Hill. m. (first) Nakigo, daughter of Walusembe, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (second) Nalugwa, daughter of Lwomwa, of the Ndiga clan. He d. in middle-age, at his capital at Jimbo, ca. 1614 (bur. Gombe, Bulemezi Co.), having had issue:
- 1) Prince (Omulangira) Sewati (s/o Nakigo).
- 2) Prince (Omulangira) Gogombe.
- 3) Prince (Omulangira) Kawali.
- 4) Kabaka Kimbugwe Kamegere, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nalugwa)
