Kabaka Ndawula
Kabaka Ndawula , Kabaka of Buganda. b. at Dgalamye, after 1680, fifth son of Kabaka Juuko, Kabaka of Buganda, by his fifth wife, Nandaula Kabengano. Succeeded on the death of his cousin. Established his capital at Lubaga. m. (first) Nabisubi (d.s.p.), daughter of Namenyeka of the Mamba clan. m. (second) Naguja, daughter of Mukalo, of the Ndjovu clan. m. (third) Nakikulwe Namirembe, daughter of Kayindi. m. (fourth) Nakide Luyiga, daughter of Segirinya, of the Dgo clan. m. (fifth) Nakyomubi, daughter of Gabunga, of the Mamba clan. m. (sixth) Nampanga, daughter of Gunju, of the Butiko clan. m. (seventh) Nazaluno, daughter of Walusembe, of the Ffumbe clan. He d. in old age, at the Kasajakaliwano Palace, Lubaga, ca. 1734 (bur. Merera), having had issue, eight sons and two daughters:
- 1) Kabaka Kagulu Tebutwereke Ntambi, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Naguja) – see below.
- 2) Prince (Omulangira) Musanje Goluba. b. at Kyebando (s/o Luyiga). m. (first) Bawuna (d.s.p.), daughter of Magunda, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (second) Nabulya Nalugwa, daughter of Lutalo, of the Ndiga clan. m. (third) Namirembe, daughter of Sematengo, of the Ndiga clan. He was k. (executed for the murder of Prince Luyenje) on the orders of his half-brother, Kabaka Kagulu, ca. 1734, having had issue, four sons:
- a) Kabaka Mwanga I Sebanakitta, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nabulya Nalugwa) – see below.
- b) Kabaka Namugala Kagali, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nabulya Nalugwa) – see below.
- c) Kabaka Kyabagu Kabinuli, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nabulya Nalugwa) – see below.
- d) Prince (Omulangira) Kayondo (s/o Namirembe).
- 3) Kabaka Mawanda Sebanakita, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Luyiga) – see below.
- 4) Kabaka Kikulwe Mawuba, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nakikulwe) – see below.
- 5) Prince (Omulangira) Segamwenge. b. at Kyebando.
- 6) Prince (Omulangira) Luyenje. b. at Kyebando (s/o Naguja). He was k. (v.p.) by his half-brother, Prince Musanje.
- 7) Prince (Omulangira) Ndege (s/o Luyiga).
- 8) Prince (Omulangira) Bezaluno (s/o Nazaluno).
- 1) Princess (Omumbejja) Ndege, Nassolo.
- 2) Princess (Omumbejja) Kyomubi (d/o Nakyomubi).
