1674 – 1680 Kabaka Mutebi I, Kabaka of Buganda. b. at Lugeye, after 1644, son of Kabaka Katerega Kamegere, Kabaka of Buganda, by his eighth wife, Namutebi. Succeeded on the death of his father, ca. 1674. Estalished his capital at Muguluka. m. (first) Nabitalo, daughter of Walusembe, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (second) Nabukalu Nabuto, daughter of Ndugwa, of the Lugave clan. m. (third) Naluyima, daughter of Nakatanza, of the Lugave clan. m. (fourth) Namawuba, daughter of Natigo, of the Lugave clan. m. (fifth) Nampima, daughter of Kibale, of the Mpewo clan. He d. at Mbalwa (bur. there), having had issue, seven sons:
1) Prince (Omulangira) Lukenge (s/o Nabitalo).
2) Kabaka Tebandeke Mujambula, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Nabukalu Nabuto) – see below.
3) Prince (Omulangira) Mpima. b. at Butebi (s/o Nampima).
